Water Quality Studies

The health of Barnegat Bay is directly related to the quality of the water within the ecosystem, including tributaries, creeks, streams, and rivers that flow into the bay. As part of this team project, students will work together to choose a location for their study and learn the equipment to conduct a hands-on study of a particular waterway.

This opportunity for field research is open to seniors in high school who have been accepted to an accredited college and university, and undergraduate students who are currently enrolled in a full-time program of study in marine science, natural resource management, environmental science, or related field. As a team, students will work with our Student Grant Team Project Advisor, Dr. John Wnek.
