Independent Projects

Independent research provides students with an opportunity for hands-on field experience while they are still working towards their degrees. It is open to all undergraduate students enrolled in a full-time program of study in marine science, natural resource management, environmental science, or related field. Graduate students will be considered based on the depth of the project and other funding sources.

Students who are interested can browse the listing below for potential projects or can submit a proposal for a separate research topic. Please follow all application guidelines set by the Student Grant Committee. Any incomplete applications will not be considered for a project.
